Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lo-Kart mobile application and services ("the Service"). By using Lo-Kart, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Lo-Kart is a technology platform that connects riders with local drivers and provides GPS-based fare metering. Lo-Kart facilitates bookings; the transport itself is provided by independent drivers.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Lo-Kart. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering.

3. Fares and payment

• Fares are calculated using a GPS meter based on distance and time, plus any applicable base fare or waiting charges shown in the app.
• The fare displayed at the end of a trip is the amount payable. Applicable taxes may apply.
• Payment is made as indicated in the app for your area (for example, cash or supported digital methods).

4. Rider conduct

You agree to treat drivers and their vehicles with respect, not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, and to comply with all applicable laws during your rides.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel a ride before it begins. A cancellation fee may apply where a driver has already been dispatched, as indicated in the app.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lo-Kart is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Lo-Kart does not guarantee the availability of rides at all times.

7. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent or unsafe behaviour.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
